    Documents you need

  1. Passport copy in colour, pages 1 to 3
  2. Academic certificates and transcripts
  3. A human written personal statement. AI generated statements are rejected
  4. Academic reference on letter headed paper
  5. Proof of English language proficiency
  6. Under 18 policy documents if applicable
  7. Previous visas and refusals if applicable
  8. Credibility and suitability interview

Students record the credibility interview through CAS Shield by uploading their passport. Only two attempts are allowed, so prepare properly first. Your career plan must be clear, genuine and realistic. Vague or scripted answers are the single most common reason a strong applicant loses their place. A suitability interview can also be run by the regional team at any stage.

    Deposit rules

  9. Undergraduate (ICAS): minimum GBP 10,000 plus a GBP 220 non-refundable admin fee plus travel insurance in order to request the CAS. The balance is paid at enrolment.
  10. Postgraduate: 100% of the fees are required before the CAS is issued.
  11. Restricted regions

UBIC does not recruit from Afghanistan, AJK, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan or Mandi Bahauddin. If your documents or address are from these regions the application will not be processed, so check before you pay anything.

    Why Bradford: the location benefit

    DestinationDistance by train
    Leeds0.5 hourManchester1 hourBirmingham2.5 hoursLondon3 hoursEdinburgh4 hours

Bradford sits inside the Leeds City Region, one of the largest financial, legal and digital employment clusters outside London, and it is consistently one of the cheapest student cities in England. Because it is outside London you only need to prove GBP 1,136 per month in maintenance funds for the Student Visa, up to 9 months, which is GBP 10,224, held for 28 consecutive days.

Benefits of starting at UBIC in November or January

  12. A second and third chance each year. You do not lose 12 months waiting for the next September.
  13. Lower entry threshold. IELTS 5.5 and a 50% Intermediate is far below the 6.5 most direct entry routes want.
  14. A 2:2, a low GPA or an HND is not the end. The one and two term pre-Masters exist exactly for those profiles.
  15. A study gap of up to 5 years is accepted on the pre-Masters routes.
  16. Guaranteed progression into a University of Bradford degree, with 2026/7 progression fees cut heavily.
  17. Same Graduate Route. Finishing the degree gives you the same 2 year post study work visa as any September starter.
  18. Cheap city, fast trains. Lower rent than Manchester or Leeds with both on your doorstep.
  19. Progression degrees you can choose

You select a continuation degree when you apply. Undergraduate routes cover Business and Management, Computing and Creative Industries, Law and Social Sciences, and Science, Engineering and Health, including Computer Science BSc, Software Engineering BEng, Cyber Security, Law LLB, Psychology BSc, Biomedical Science, MPharm, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering. Postgraduate routes include Applied Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics MSc, Cyber Security MSc, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning MSc, Financial Technology MSc, Human Resource Management (CIPD) MSc, Master of Public Health, several LLM Law routes and a full range of Engineering MSc programmes.
