💡 Tips for China Students
Gaokao route: Birmingham, Leicester, Cardiff and Southampton accept Gaokao at ~75-80%. Foundation route: NCUK, INTO, Kaplan provide guaranteed progression. PG applicants: ensure your university is on the MoE Recognised Institution list (jsj.moe.gov.cn) so your degree can be authenticated by CSSD (留学服务中心) on your return. CSC scholarship holders skip the £1,483/month maintenance funds rule. Mandatory TB test at an IOM-approved clinic in China — your local hospital does NOT count. Notarised English translations of all academic documents must come from a Public Notary Office (公证处).
