  12. Accepted: savings, current accounts. Not accepted: shares, ISAs, prize bonds, mobile-money, crypto.

    Academic Documents (Match the CAS)

  13. All degree certificates and transcripts listed on the CAS
  14. Secondary school certificates if your CAS lists them
  15. Notarised translations for any document not in English
  16. English Language

  17. IELTS for UKVI, PTE Academic UKVI, LanguageCert SELT, or
  18. Medium-of-Instruction letter if the university confirms English on the CAS
  19. TB Test

    ATAS Certificate

Only for postgraduate science, engineering and technology courses listed by the FCDO. Apply 4-6 weeks before submission.

    Under-18 Applicants

  20. Birth certificate
  21. Letter of consent from both parents
  22. Proof of care arrangements in the UK
  23. Optional but Recommended

  24. Personal statement of purpose
  25. Study plan covering why this course and university
  26. Refusal explanation letter if you have any previous UK or other refusals
  27. Document Formatting Rules

  28. Original or certified scans, in colour
  29. Translations from a certified translator with stamp and signature
  30. All bank documents must be stamped and signed by the bank
  31. File names should be clear, for example "Passport_Bio_Page.pdf"
  32. Bottom Line

Build the checklist in two folders: one digital for the online upload and one physical for biometrics. Cross-check each document against your CAS before submitting - mismatched names, dates of birth or grades are the leading cause of avoidable refusals.
