    Most Russell Group universities close postgraduate applications by late August 2026. The following are usually the last to close their international postgraduate applications: Queen Mary, Liverpool, Sheffield (selected courses), Birmingham (selected courses), Newcastle, Cardiff, Leeds (selected courses) and Queen's Belfast. For undergraduate Russell Group entry after 30 June, your only realistic route is UCAS Clearing from 5 July to 20 October 2026.

Best universities for January 2027 international intake include Hertfordshire, Coventry, Greenwich, East London, Middlesex, Northumbria, Westminster, BPP, Kingston, Roehampton, West London, Anglia Ruskin, Birmingham City and Ulster University (Birmingham/London campuses). January intake typically offers the same fees, same degree, same qualification as September entry.
