    UWTSD for Mature Students: CertHE With No Qualifications in London, Birmingham and Swansea (2026/27)

    Carry on to a degree

    After the CertHE you can continue at Level 5 and 6 to complete a degree, for example:

    • BA Business Management (£9,535 a year)
    • BA Leadership and Management Skills for the Workplace (also at weekends)
    • BSc Health and Social Care (also at weekends)
    • BSc Applied Computing

    UWTSD also offers master's degrees at £7,800 for students with an honours degree (2:2 or above), such as an MBA International Business, MSc Data and Artificial Intelligence, MSc Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics, and MSc Public Health and Social Care in Practice.

    Entry requirements

    • Age 21+: no qualifications needed for the CertHE.
    • Under 21: you need a Level 3 qualification, such as A-levels or a BTEC.
    • No upper age limit.
    • Degree entry (BA): a Level 3 qualification or the CertHE.
    • English: no external English test (such as Duolingo). Your English is checked at the assessment day.

    The assessment day

    Undergraduate applicants attend an on-campus assessment of about 3.5 hours, which includes:

    • a listening and note-taking task;
    • a group speaking activity;
    • a short case-study writing task.

    Prepare by reading the course outline and thinking about why the subject fits your work or plans.

    Timetable and intakes

    • Weekday: 2 days a week, about 4 hours a day.
    • Weekend: Saturday and Sunday.
    • Flexi (Business Skills): 1 weekday plus 1 weekend day.
    • Intakes: January–February, April–May and September–October.
