    Entry requirements for international students

    Typical postgraduate entry is a recognised bachelor degree at 2:2 level or above. As a rough country guide: India 55 to 60 percent, Pakistan 60 percent or 2.5 CGPA on 16 years of education, Bangladesh CGPA 2.5, Nigeria Second Class Lower (HND upper credit considered with experience), Nepal 55 percent or CGPA 2.5.

    Undergraduate entry is normally Year 12 or equivalent at around 60 percent, and top-up degrees need a completed HND or Level 5 diploma in a related subject.

    English language is usually IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each component for undergraduate study and 6.5 overall for most postgraduate courses. Nursing, dental and health routes require IELTS 7.0 with 6.5 in each component. Pre-sessional English and accepted alternatives are available.
