Bangladesh: BCU says it can't accept undergraduate applications from applicants in Bangladesh.
How the process works for Pakistani and Bangladeshi applicants
- Apply by 11 November with your transcripts, degree, passport, English test and statement of purpose.
- Pay the first deposit by 16 November. This unlocks your credibility interview.
- Complete CAS Shield by 27 November: upload your documents and pass the credibility interview.
- Pay the CAS deposit by 4 December.
- Receive your CAS by 11 December, then apply for your visa straight away.
English: MOI letters no longer accepted from Pakistan
BCU no longer accepts Medium of Instruction (MOI) letters as proof of English for Pakistani applicants, so you'll need an accepted English test. The MRes is also closed to Pakistan. See BCU changes for Pakistani students.
Visa money for Birmingham
Birmingham is outside London. You'll need your remaining first-year fees plus £1,203 a month for 9 months (£10,827) if you apply for your visa from 30 November 2026, held for 28 days.
